The Tragedies
Thankfully tragedies by way of death or brain damage are fairly
rare, however when they do come it is hard to accept how these guys,
who were true tough sportsmen, are reduced sometimes to shadows of
their former selves. The most high profile casualty of the sport
is arguably the greatest boxer of all time......Muhammad Ali One
of the most exciting fights ever was the WBC Super Middleweight
title fight between Champion Nigel Benn and Challenger, former WBC
Middleweight Champion Gerlad McClellan in 1995. Benn stopped
Gerald after one of the most brutal bouts of all time.

brilliant fight 4 years previously was the fight between WBO
Super-Middleweight Champion Chris Eubank and Challenger Michael
Watson. Unfortunately this too was to end in tragic
consequences and Michael suffered terrible brain injuries.
